As co-founder and CEO of Span Instruments, Don helped build the company into a leading supplier of pressure and flow devices. Span merged with publicly traded Tylan General in 1996, and Don joined Tylan as Vice Chairman. After the sale of Tylan General to Millipore Corporation, Don invested in many successful private manufacturing companies.
With his expertise in both manufacturing and finance, he has specialized in mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on operations consultation. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Chairman of Authentix, which was acquired by the Carlyle Group. Recently, along with serving as CEO of Subeca Inc., Don is, and has been, Chairman of Reno Subsystems, for the last six years.
Don is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Finance.
